Is AI automation worth it for an SME with 10 people?
AI automation is worth it for an SME with 10 people when it comes to processes that recur often, follow fixed rules and cost a lot of manual work today. The key is the process, not the number of people. For rare processes that are different every time, it is usually not worth it.
Should I automate all processes at once or start with one?
With AI automation, it makes sense to start with a single process rather than switching everything at once. Choose a process that happens often, follows fixed rules and whose results are easy to check. That way you see what automation brings to your business before you decide on further processes.
Which role fits my project: Builder, Project Lead, Consultant or Trainer?
Which role I take on depends on where your project stands. As a Consultant, I advise before the start on what standards and data protection require. If it is unclear what should be built and in which order, I work as Project Lead (Captain); once the plan is clear, I build and test as Builder and support the sign-off. As a Trainer, I train your team on the finished system.
What does a freelancer for AI automation cost, and how is it billed?
My daily rate is CHF 1200, billed by time spent. A contract only comes into being through a confirmed quote; it states the scope and price. What your project needs, we clarify in the initial consultation.
How long does an AI automation project take?
How long an AI automation project takes depends on how clearly the process is described and how many departments are involved. Once the plan is clear, building, testing and acceptance follow; if it is still unclear what should be built, clarification comes first. Any statement on duration is an estimate based on experience, not a commitment.
How does the first contact with a freelancer for AI automation work?
It starts with a request: by email, by phone or via the enquiry form on this page. In the form, you describe what should be done and where things get stuck today; confirmation and access to the client portal come by email. A contract only comes into being through a confirmed quote.
Does my data stay in Switzerland with AI automation?
Whether your data stays in Switzerland depends on the tool used and where it processes your data. As a Consultant, I advise before building on what data protection (Swiss FADP) and standards such as ISO 27001 require. Whether something is permitted is for your lawyer to clarify. Do you work on site or remotely?
I work on site in the canton of Aargau, for example in Brugg, Windisch, Baden, Lenzburg or Aarau. Meetings by video are possible throughout Switzerland. My office is in Bözberg near Brugg AG.
